Wishing you all a Happy New Year 2020. First day in the new year is a good time to reflect on what went well in the past year and perhaps there were few other things that didn’t go all well.
In all things it is a good to appreciate that you are ALIVE to see another year, another decade. Be grateful for that!
In this new year, ensure that you have health goals in place. Let your health be from the inside, make it a lifestyle.
I have put the following as few health tips for a Healthy 2020;
- Focus more, concentrate better and worry less to help you with your mental wellbeing. Do away with anger and negative people.
- Maintain a good relationship with your loved ones to help with your mental wellbeing
- Get enough sleep to help you lower the levels of stress and also reduce chances of heart disease
- Drink more water and less of carbonated fizzy drinks to cut down on sugars
- Drink alcohol in moderate amount. Work out a dry alcohol-free month
- Create time to attend workshops, seminars and business talks to help you with your financial wellbeing
- Walk at least 15-30mins per day to help you reduce weight and improve your heart and lungs conditions
- Include fruits and vegetables as part of your diet
- Do not skip breakfast; eat wholegrain cereal and low-fat yogurt
- Eat fish or seafood at least once a week. they are good source of omega-3 fatty acids important for the body and brain functions
Wishing you a healthy new year and I challenge you to be live smarter by taking conscious efforts to look after your health in the new year 2020.
